The goal of the Climate Change program is to promote green economy and combat climate change through strengthening Japan’s domestic climate policies.

Our activities are focused on:

・ Domestic emissions trading and Voluntary Action Plan

Besides, our green tax reform program advocates the use of economic instruments (such as carbon taxes) to combat climate change.

Policy Advocacy
JACSES works with government officials, industry representatives, researchers and other NGOs to facilitate a strategic approach to climate policy and push for policy reforms in Japan.
